This presentation fulfilled the requirements of Assessment 2 by developing a structured research proposal in PowerPoint format. The task required defining a relevant educational issue, reviewing literature, formulating research objectives and a clear question, and outlining a systematic research design. The chosen topic focused on the challenges and opportunities of teaching large ESL classes in Saudi primary schools, targeting Arabic-speaking students aged 8–10. The problem was contextualized within classroom overcrowding and language barriers. A literature matrix supported a focused summary of key sources, identifying issues like low student motivation and limited participation. The research aim and rationale were clearly stated, followed by a PICO-structured question. All sections were cited in APA 7th style, demonstrating alignment with academic expectations and the assignment’s specific criteria.
