This assignment examines the use of high-protein meal replacement products (MRPs) for weight management in overweight and obese adults. It reviews scientific studies showing that MRPs can effectively support weight loss, improve body composition, and help maintain long-term results by promoting satiety and preserving muscle mass. The report also highlights the importance of protein in overall health and addresses concerns about the nutritional completeness of MRPs. Despite some study limitations, the findings support the development of MRPs with 20–30 grams of protein and essential nutrients, used alongside healthy diet and exercise for sustainable weight loss.
