This paper answers the research question in a way that it opposes that happiness can be considered as a mental health disorder, as the paper imitates that happiness shares no relationship with the changes in the mental health of a person which leads towards mental health disorders. This means that happiness is a normal state of a healthy person, and it cannot be considered by the mental health nurses as a diagnostic approach among patients suffering from mental health disorders.

This paper answers the research question, by revealing that hypomania, which is a mental health disorder shares similar characteristics with happiness, as a person with hypomania exhibits unusual levels of happiness and excitement, which differs from a normal state of mental wellbeing. This means that happiness can be considered as a diagnostic approach by the mental health nurses to assess if a person is suffering from hypomania, such as by finding out and measuring the unusual levels of happiness.
